I almost forgot how stressful blogging can be sometimes. I stopped for almost two years because I wasn't really into it and a lot has happened since I last blogged. Where do I even begin?

I'm not a wordy person and I usually just type in simple sentences and say whatever I have to say in a sentence or two. I'm going to try my best to make this post a little long by sharing a few things about what happened when I stopped blogging. I've been way too conscious about everything I post and this whole annoying anxious thing has been going on since 2011. I figured blogging would go be a great way for me to deal with my anxiety a little bit and to step out of my comfort zone. So, here I am.

Hola. My name's Bea.
I took up AB Production Design in DLS-CSB and after an entire school year of being with talented people who have a passion for set design and everything theatre-related, I realized that production design wasn't for me. I didn't see myself doing that for the rest of my life so I shifted to Multimedia Arts which is the course that's been on my mind since I was in high school. I became an irregular student and it was hard for me to adjust because I wasn't with my blockmates anymore (hi DFS1) but being an introverted irregular art student sort of paid off when I saw my name on the Dean's List. I kept myself busy by focusing on my plates, drawing and learning Spanish (I've forgotten most of the words already lol). My mother's side of the family tracked down our relatives from Asturias last year so we could become Spanish citizens. Long story short: my mom and her siblings applied and when they got accepted, I applied and it was approved and I received my Spanish passport last August. I am happy to say that I am officially a Spanish citizen!!!! WOOOO ¡ESTOY MUY FELIZ!

December 2, 2014
I turned eighteen last December 2014. I celebrated my birthday with my high school friends in Makati and to end my birthday week (birth week?), I had dinner with my ninongs, ninangs and relatives at Mecha Uma. Instead of having a debut, I asked if I could travel instead. The original plan was for me to go to Europe with my grandma because her sister owns an apartment in Paris but something came up so I asked if I could go to San Francisco instead. My dad suggested other places for me to go to like New York and New Jersey since his cousin lives there. I asked if he could come with me to New York because he and I have never been there before. My dad is a workaholic who hasn't been on a long vacation in years so it took him a while to decide if he should go on this trip with me. (He said yes, btw)

Fast forward to 2015

My family spent the first week of April in Hong Kong. We walked around Tsim Tsa Tsui, had lunch at Paisano's (my favorite pizza place in Hong Kong), shopped, had dinner at Wooloomooloo and enjoyed the cold weather. The last time I went to Hong Kong was when I was a junior in high school. I remember it because it was the day after my first prom and I was in so much pain because I danced all night wearing high heels. I wanted to stay at the hotel and rest but my parents said no and forced me to walk around with them. It was the worst. I had to stop myself from crying because we got lost and spent an hour trying to find our hotel.

The rest of April was all about spending time with my high school and college friends, decluttering, filming, trying my best not to have a mental breakdown because of all the things I had to do for school (MMA IS HELLA DIFFICULT) and preparing for my late birthday trip. I had two photo shoots and made a short film with the help of my uncle. Oh and you can view the shoot I had with my neighbor, Jeline, here and hereThis was originally a year-ender post but I wasn't able to finish writing before the year ended so it's now a comeback post + a summary of what happened during the first few months of the year. I'll be blogging about my USA trip and the rest of 2015 soon!

Happy new year and may God bless you!
