Beverly Hills
  • Had lunch and spent the day in Beverly Hills. My uncle and his family wanted to celebrate my (late) 18th birthday so they took us to Mastro's Steakhouse for dinner. It genuinely felt like it was my birthday again. Haha!
  • The Sprinkles' cupcake ATM is the cutest! I immediately took a picture of it and my friend's boyfriend surprised me with a red velvet cupcake. Thanks Junior!
  • This was taken on our first night in LA. It was freezing cold. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (CHEESECAKE I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH) and walked around Americana.
  • I went to Urban Outfitters with Alex and I saw this beautiful thing.

My dad and I stayed in North Hollywood with our family friends. I'm pretty sure we both gained more than five pounds during our stay with them because they kept bringing us to the best restaurants. Not complaining though. The food was delicious! We went to San Francisco after five days to meet up with my Lola and her sisters.

I think Disneyland was celebrating their 60th year or something, and Disneyland posters were everywhere in San Francisco. My cousin, JT, really wanted to go. He didn't have anyone to go with so he kept bugging me about it. I didn't really want to go to Los Angeles because I was just there two weeks ago.

You can't not take a cliche shot like this when you're in LA.

My mom's sisters went around Beverly Hills while my uncle, four of my second cousins, JT and I went to Disneyland. I didn't want my uncle to take care of them the entire day (because that is hella tiring) so I made him go on rides with JT while I took care of the kids. Adults should have fun in Disneyland too, y'know? Do you know how hard it is to take care of four kids in Disneyland? I felt tired just by looking at my uncle taking care of his kids.  Holy crap. Every time my uncle wasn't there, JT and I (mostly me though) would be in charge and I would panic every time I couldn't find one of my cousins. I'm glad that my cousins weren't as makulit as I thought they would be. They were really obedient and sweet. Thank God. Haha!

Whenever JT and I would line up with the kids, strangers would think that we were their parents. THEY THOUGHT I WAS A MOM OF FOUR. BRUH. I know it's common for teens to be moms now and all pero mukha ba akong nanay?! Omg. None of them even assumed that we were cousins or siblings!

After the fireworks display, I was holding two of my cousins while we were heading to Frontier Land and whenever I would lose sight of any of them, strangers would say things like "oh, I found your child, he's over there!" or "Be careful! You might lose your child!" I kinda wanted to stay far away from my cousins after hearing everything that's been said to me that day. lol.

Amazing photography skills. I love it.

Disney at night

When we finished going to all the places we wanted to go, we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant outside Disneyland. JT and I ordered the same thing and tasted the best quesadillas I have ever tasted. We went back inside for the parade and the fireworks. The couple in front of me kept making out while I watched the fireworks so I didn't exactly enjoy that part of my night lol. To end our Disneyland experience, JT and I rode the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and we had so much fun! We wanted to ride it again but it was about ten or eleven already and the kids were tired.

3 out of 4 of my second cousins. They're homeschooled and their parents don't allow them to use iPads and other gadgets so they find literally anything amusing. An example of this is the photo above. They saw a firetruck outside and stared at it for ten to fifteen minutes.

I had such a great time in Los Angeles! It was a pretty long drive going there and going back to San Francisco but it was worth it. I'm glad I got to go there again. We don't get to bond with my mom's side of the family that much so I'm glad I got to spend time with them for a couple of days.
