2016’s been aaaaaamazing so far. One of my cousins shared her belief about even and odd years a few years ago. Her even years (2010, 2012, 2014, etc) are her good years and the odd years are her crappy or not so good years. When she said that, I thought of it and it sort of applies to me as well.

Here are my resolutions and note(s)-to-self:
  • Invest in myself. Use the equipment I have to improve
  • To step out of my comfort zone and try new things (like food and change how I dress because I’ve been wearing really plain outfits since forever)
  • Do something new with my hair. I’ve had the same hairstyle since 2011. Bruh
  • Socialize - I went through an “I hate everyone” stage from 2011-2013 and since I’m not a h8 life anymore, being a misanthrope in the past makes it quite difficult for me to socialize
  • Stop expecting people to reply and do nice things just because I would do it
  • Stop biting my nails
  • Read 25 books
  • Blog more
  • Put myself out there
Anyway, this is what I've been up to lately. I've been watching a ton of YouTube and Vimeo videos lately. One of my favorite YouTubers is Dodie Clark. Adored By Him and her cover of Death of a Bachelor are my favorites.

February 20, 2016: Goodvybes

Passion Pit's the main reason why I went to Goodvybes. Tears were rolling down my face as I sang along. It was such a great night and I'm glad I got to spend it with my high school friends.

March 5, 2016: I've popped my Wanderland cherry!

TOO. MANY. PEOPLE. This was taken minutes before I almost fainted. I was watching The Naked & Famous with Jeline when I started to see white spots and felt dizzy. I lost my hearing for about 2-3 minutes and it scared the crap out of me. I looked at Jeline and told her that we had to get out of there. She wasn't feeling well either. We left that area and took photos, videos and walked around instead.

While I was waiting for Jeline by the VIP area, I saw Jess Connelly, Curtismith, Frank and Saab Magalona with their friends. I got the chance to talk to Saab Magalona for a bit! She's such a sweetheart! I looked WAY too happy so I had to edit it lol. Just focus on the two beautiful people next to me.

It sucks that I didn't get to enjoy watching Bon Iver perform. It's all because of the three younger girls (probably 14-15 years old) in front of me who would give me judgmental stares every time I screamed (screaming is a normal thing to do at a concert. excuse u) and there was a group of international high school students behind me who DID NOT WANT TO STOP TALKING.

"I only know Skinny Love"
"IS THIS SKINNY LOVE?! Oh... no. It's not."
"Can he just sing Skinny Love so I can go already?"
"Dude, did you hear about *insert friend's name here*? He has so many bitches."
*While listening to a song they don't know* "Yes, I totally love this song..."
"Wanna go to Valk after?"

Jeline and I wanted to punch them in the face.

Aside from almost fainting, losing my hearing for a couple of minutes, feeling insecure whenever I'd see pretty people and wanting to punch the annoying high school students who talked a lot while Bon Iver was performing, I had a fun time. I really hope Wanderland won't be as crowded next year and I hope there would be more drink stations and food stalls because the lines were super long.

Breakfast buffet at Balay Dako, Tagaytay
The view is A+, the food is A+ and I've fallen in love with their pesto cream cheese spread.
